Uriah Heep is a British rock band, officially formed in in London, England, when record producer Gerry Bron invited keyboardist Ken Hensley (previously a member of The Gods and Toe Fat) to join Spice, members of whom included soon-to-become Heep stalwarts David Byron (vocals) and Mick Box (guitar). The band rapidly grew to become a seminal classic hard rock act of the s and beyond.

Mar 11,  · The album also included a remake of "Think It Over", a song recorded by the prior (and largely different) lineup of Uriah Heep. The original version, featuring John Sloman on lead vocals, was the A-side of a Heep single/5().

Jan 19,  · Say hello to Metal’s other Orange Demon Dude - the Abominog! If he’s a bit chirpy looking, it’s maybe because he's gracing the cover of the comeback album of much-loved Rockers Uriah Heep. A decline in fortunes had led to the poorly received Conquest album and the group falling apart in Only guitarist Mick Box returned.
